I truly enjoy the fact that this class gives me the ability to see what it's like to be a teacher. We cover a wide variety of topics on education and get a well rounded idea of how being a teacher impacts the lives of students. I was never really excited to have teaching as a career option until I took this class

Creedon Newell
Sheridan College and UW student

I enjoy the opportunity to go to schools around me and observe the teachers and students.  Having local mentors to go to if we need help or have questions is a great part of the class.

Just into the course 6 weeks and the EDSE 4070 had done a great job showing the teaching value of CTE from the rewarding relationships and non-monetary aspects as well as the career aspects. Have learned a lot of different areas that CTE covers, an excellent way to take learned skills and pass them on to the next generation, giving practical value to students to use well into their futures.
